THE AIRCRAFT GROUP'S TAKE: COMPLETE AIRCRAFT INFORMATION IS JUST A CLICK AWAY
PHOENIX, AZ, August 10, 2006 - What if accessing airplane information was as easy as scanning a bar code?
It is thanks to TAG Fleet Online, an innovative document and asset management system that enables users to rapidly access, search, and manage all aircraft operational data, equipment specifications and historical records anytime and anywhere Internet service is available.
Aircraft investors, traders, and managers are embracing the technology, which is already in use by a range of clients including Lehman Brothers Aviation Finance Group, Citigroup and Bank of America Leasing and Capital.
TAG Fleet Online was developed and pioneered by The Aircraft Group, a Phoenix, Arizona-based commercial aircraft technical consulting firm founded by industry veteran Walter Andrushenko in 1990. The Aircraft Group has been marketing the TAG Fleet Online system since 2003. At the International Society of Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) conference in Orlando, Florida last month it introduced a series of enhancements designed to allow the system to function more like an additional employee, but at a fraction of the cost.
“Using the Internet to view, search, manage, and share equipment specifications, operating data and digitized records is a giant leap forward,” said Andrushenko, the company’s president. “The traditional mediums of paper, microfilm — even CDs and DVDs — represent the past. TAG Fleet Online is the future.”
